Ross Milstead was a personal friend. Divine's cousin. When we met people thought we were the same person. At one point (January 26) we were going to fly down to Key West and be Divine twin dancers. A brief yet intense affair lead to a great friendship until his passing. An often-televised dancer. Talented. Sobriety created an even more talented kind man. Miss him. I am sure Terry O'neill & Ross are friends in heaven.

Off stage Joan was the most charming positive kind woman. On stage she was polar opposite. Total trash mouth. Few comedians get away with what came out of her mouth! She always kept in touch via Facebook.
Grammy Winner MIchael Hedges (after he died in a car crash). He was quiet. Before he was famous he played in a venue on the same street where I lived. Being a musical/singer I was enamored by his talent. Everyone knew him by his long hair. Although I was not the one that cut it short, but my cutting his hair made credit to his live album "Strings of Steele'. Orginally an European release.
I just happen to be at the salon when members of the cast came in to get their hair cut. A Cut Above Hair Salon. I left after 7 years when they would not give me a raise that others got when making $1000 a week.
