My Photos are limited due to limited web space. 

My inspiration to create this site was because I was diagnosed with a rare connective tissue disease called "hEhlers Danlos Syndrome".  We don't produce collagen which is "the internal glue" that holds everything together. I.E. muscles, tendons, joints, knees, even organs will rupture. This includes over 20 conditions, disorders, diseases that affect brain, heart, Dysautonomia, legs, back, neck, gut, bowel, bladder, organ rupture, autonomic disfunction, Skin Hyper elasticity (skin greatly stretches/wrinkles beyond normal. The face can look younger however from neck down we are EXTREMELY wrinkled.), blood vessels collapse/rupture, Dislocations, vision, memory loss/confusion, anxiety, depression.

Most become affected by their 20's. but mine was "fairly" dormant, until a traumatic fall 2019 at age sixty. I got a full diagnosis leaving me wheelchair bound 2021.  I have ruptured my left quadricep muscle completely detached from knee 4 times now deeming it inoperable. INSANELY Painful. I can't take ANY kind of pain meds(NSAIDS) due to acute/chronic diverticulitis. My right leg has tears of tendons, ligaments in knee. As of 07 2024 I have a torn rotator cuff left shoulder affected. A left rhomboid tear shoulder blade. Lower left back needs more procedures as well  as neck. My stomach and intestines are not working very well, leaving me swollen and not absorbing food. Gluten/food intolerance that leaves me often running to the bathroom. 

The disease has also taken away my ability to sing. As result I have created videos of my recordings/album.

Dancing, running 5K, cycling and singing was my life for 40 years!!!

I wanted this website to show who Davide "Durrell" McGonigle is and what I'm about.
